White Mountains Hike, Madison Spring AMC Hut, June 23-25, 1995
Camped Friday night at a roadside campground. After breakfast Saturday morning, drove to trailhead along
Route 2 in Randolph. Three boys (George B., Mike L., Josh Z.) became separated from the larger group, and
took a more direct route to the top, reaching
Madison Hut quite early. Those behind were concerned about the missing group, and initated rescue efforts, only
to ultimately learn that they were safe. The main group took a longer route, which taxed everyone. Participants

Attended the Harvard football game on a splendid, sunny fall afternoon. Harvard played Brown (not sure who
won). After the game,

Canoe Trip, Saco River, September 16-18, 1994
Camped at Woodland Acres Campground, in Brownfield, Maine on Friday night. Participants included (left
to right in photo): Bill F., Kevin W., Nick V., George L., Josh Z.,
Jack S., Justin W., Austin S., George B., Mike L., Peter W., Matt K., Mr. Sally, Mr. Kennard. Put into the Saco River near the campground,
and canoed downriver, stopping at a portage around a damn on Saturday night.
