Weston Boy Scout Troop 157

Spring Nobscot Cabin Trip
May 18-19, 2002

Instead of traveling to the Franconia Notch, New Hampshire area on Saturday, 5/18, we'll be camping at our Nobscot Cabin. We’ll depart from the Scout House in Weston at 1 pm, Saturday, May 18th and travel to Nobscot. We’ll hike to the cabin where our head chef will prepare a gourmet dinner and Sunday breakfast. Where we will be within commuting distance to Weston, there is plenty of opportunity for First Class candidates to join us as their schedules allow and complete some of their remaining requirements. Activities through Sat and Sun morning can be adapted to help boys complete needed advancement. Some activities could include cooking, fire skills, wood tools/safety, and plant and animal ID. Sunday morning (May 19th) we will hike out and be returning home to Weston between 11 and 12 Noon. So that activities can be planned, please confirm your participation and schedule plans with Mr Heath (781) 893-8896. Also, contact Mr. Heath if you have any questions.
